Basic Rules

1. Yield to vehicles already in the roundabout
2. Drive counter-clockwise (to the right)
3. No signal when entering (unlike some countries!)
4. Signal right when exiting

Important German Specifics

• DO NOT signal left when entering - this is wrong in Germany
• Only use right signal when leaving
• Keep in right lane unless overtaking or taking later exit

2. Yield sign: Usually present at German roundabouts
3. Enter: When gap is safe, no signal

• Pedestrians at zebra crossings have priority
