Roundabout Rules in Germany
Basic Rules
- Yield to vehicles already in the roundabout
- Drive counter-clockwise (to the right)
- No signal when entering (unlike some countries!)
- Signal right when exiting
Important German Specifics
- DO NOT signal left when entering - this is wrong in Germany
- Only use right signal when leaving
- Keep in right lane unless overtaking or taking later exit
