Speed Limits in the Netherlands
Important: Daytime vs Nighttime Limits!
The Netherlands introduced variable motorway limits in 2020 for environmental reasons.

- Daytime (6:00-19:00): 100 km/h
- Nighttime (19:00-6:00): 120-130 km/h (varies by section)
- Some sections remain 100 km/h at all times
- Check signs! They indicate current limit
