Poland: Motorways 140 km/h, Expressways 120 km/h (100 km/h single carriageway), Rural roads 90 km/h, Urban 50 km/h (60 km/h at night 23:00-05:00 was removed in 2021).

Poland has one of Europe's STRICTEST limits: 0.2 promille (0.02%) for ALL drivers. Above 0.5 promille is a criminal offense with mandatory prison sentence. Very severe enforcement.

Poland: Right-hand traffic. Priority to vehicles from right at equal intersections. Left turns yield to oncoming traffic. Green arrow allows right turn on red after stopping.

In Poland, paid parking (SPP - Strefa Płatnego Parkowania) costs 3-6 PLN/hour in city centers. Fines for parking violations range from 100-1000 PLN. Most cities have free parking on weekends and after 20:00.

In Poland, seatbelts are mandatory for all occupants. Fine is 100 PLN. Children under 150cm must use appropriate child restraints. Points may also be assigned.

Using a handheld phone while driving in Poland results in 500 PLN fine and 12 penalty points (severe!). This is one of the highest point penalties in Poland.

Polish motorways (autostrady) have a 140 km/h limit - one of the highest in Europe. Expressways (drogi ekspresowe) have 120 km/h. e-TOLL system for tolls.

In Poland, call 112 for all emergencies, 997 for police, 998 for fire, 999 for ambulance. At accidents: reflective vest mandatory, place warning triangle, provide first aid, complete accident form.
