Turn Rules in France
Priorite a Droite (Priority to the Right)
France strictly applies this rule:
- At unmarked intersections, yield to vehicles from the right
- Very important in cities and villages
- Even applies to small side streets
- Signs override this rule
Making Turns

- Stay on the right side of road
- Signal (clignotant) in advance

- Yield to all oncoming traffic
- Wait in intersection if needed
- Yield to pedestrians crossing

- Turning right on red is NOT allowed
