Standard Drivers
- Maximum BAC: 0.5 promille (0.05%)
- "Relative unfitness" at 0.3 promille if showing signs of impairment
Zero Tolerance Groups
- Maximum BAC: 0.0 promille
- Drivers under 21 years old
- Drivers in probationary period (< 2 years)
Absolute Unfitness
- At 1.1 promille (0.11%) you are considered absolutely unfit to drive
- This is a criminal offense regardless of behavior
Penalties
0.5-1.09 promille (First offense)
- Fine: €500
- 2 points
- 1 month driving ban
1.1 promille and above
- Criminal prosecution
- Possible prison sentence
- License revocation
- MPU required to get license back
