Reach the minimum age for the category and meet the residency and health conditions.

  2. Pass the theory test

Study the traffic rules and road signs, then pass the written knowledge test.

  3. Train and pass the practical test

Complete the required driving practice and pass the on-road driving exam.

  4. Medical and eyesight check

Meet the eyesight standard; lorry and bus categories also require a medical examination.

  5. Receive your licence

Your licence is issued for a fixed period and must be renewed when it expires.
